 | WILLIAM C. ANDERSON, III Bill was admitted to the Bars of Delaware and the U.S. District Court, District of Delaware, in 1975, as well as the Bars of Illinois and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois in 1979 and the U.S. Supreme Court in 1989. His areas of practice include Hospital Defense and Medical Malpractice as well as other tort defense and commercial litigation. Born in Haddonfield, New Jersey, he received his A.B. from Georgetown University in 1969 and his J.D., cum laude, from Villanova University in 1975. He is a Member and former Board Member of the Society of Trial Lawyers and was elected a Fellow in The American College of Trial Lawyers in 1996. Bill is the author of a number of professional publications appearing in the John Marshall Law Review, The Loyola University of Chicago Law Journal and the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law among others. He has also contributed chapters to publications of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education . | |  | STEPHEN B. ARTHUR Stephen has worked for Abbott for 21 years and is presently in the Abbott Diagnostics Division. During his time at Abbott he has held various management positions in Global Engineering, Finance & Administration and the Diagnostics Division. Stephen has worked for many years on the Abbott Employee Giving Campaign and as a campaign consultant to other Lake County corporations. He has also been actively involved with recruitment and mentoring of Engineers at Abbott. Stephen holds BS degrees in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering from the UW-Madison and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Stephen is married, has four children and the family lives in Libertyville, IL . | |  | NEIL BRISKMAN Neil is an expert in pricing, with experience in high tech, telecommunications, and consumer services. After graduating from Yale University with a BA and an MA in economics, he went on to work at the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services in Washington. He then taught economics at Brooklyn College From 1988 to 1995, Neil worked at AT&T, Ameritech, and SBC, all of which are now AT&T. During this time, he rose from a staff manager position to Vice President of Pricing, and relocated from New Jersey to Illinois. He then spent two years as Vice President of Marketing Analysis and Pricing at ServiceMaster. Since 2003, he has been Senior Director of Pricing at Motorola's Mobile Devices Business, where he manages a team of 30 in various global locations, setting prices for mobile phones and accessories. Neil lives in Lake Forest with his wife and three children. He has served on the board of ESNI since 2006 . | |  | ANTHONY E. CATANIA Tony has been a member of the ESNI board of directors since 1983. He is currently an ESNI director and a previous vice-president and president. He was employed by Kemper insurance (now retired) for 35 years in a variety of management and executive positions, including Director of Technology, Corporate Planning Director, Vice-President for Corporate Human Resources and Vice-President of Commercial Lines Operations. Tony was a director of Federal Kemper Insurance Company and Economy Fire and Casualty Company. He was a member of the board for 12 years and past president, Crossings Homeowners Association; past vice-chairman of the St. James Stewardship Committee; past treasurer and vice-president Stuart Town Homes Corporation. Tony has a BS in Mathematics and Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago, seven daughters and nine grandchildren . | |  | TRACY HILL, AMS, RAM, PCAM Tracy serves as President and CEO of Property Specialists, Inc. He has over thirty years experience in the management of single family and multi-family communities, ranging served on the Board of Directors of the Community Association Institute, Illinois Chapter, as President of the Multi-Family Housing Council of Illinois, as President of the Apartment and Condominium Council of Greater Chicago, as a member of the National Association of Home Builders' Multi-Family Mortgage Finance Committee and is a past Chairman of the NAHB RAM Board of Governors. Concurrent with this last position, he serves as a National Director of the National Association of Home Builders. In 1996, Tracy was appointed to the Legislative Review Committee and concurrently serves as a State Director for the Home Builders Association of Illinois and Past President of the Home Builders Association of Greater Chicago and is a Life Director of that association as well as a life Director of the National Association of Home Builders . | |  | LEWIS B. LANDRETH Lou is the retired Corporate Vice-President of International Mineral and Chemical Corporation. During his tenure at IMC, Lou served as Director of Acquisitions and Investments, Director of budgeting and Vice-President of Finance, among other positions. He is past president of the Planning Executives Institute and serves on the Board of Directors of Presbyterian Homes and is a recent president of the residents association of Lake Forest Place . | |  | THOMAS P. LAWLOR Tom joined the Walgreen Company headquartered in Deerfield, Illinois in 1978 as a pharmacy manager in Chicago. He became a store manager in 1987 and was promoted to a district pharmacy supervisor in Chicago in 1988. In 1994 he came to the corporate office as manager of pharmacy database, and in 1999 was promoted to director of pharmacy marketing. 2005, Tom was promoted to his present position as director of quality assurance for Walgreens pharmacy services department. Tom received his B.S. degree in pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1975, and before joining Walgreens, he worked as a pharmacist for Barcus Pharmacy in Oak Lawn, Ill . | | | JAMES F. MARSHALL Jim is Vice President, Commercial Division Manager, Of AMCORE Bank. He is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining existing relationships and managing a team of commercial lenders and support staff. He has over 20 years of banking and financial experience. Prior to joining AMCORE in 2007, he was Vice President at LaSalle Bank in Highland Park, IL. Jim earned a bachelor's degree in business administration with a minor in management from Columbia College and his MBA in organizational development from Upper Iowa University. He is a graduate of the Illinois Banker's Association Commercial Lending School. Jim is a member of the Tooling and Manufacturer's Association of Chicago, is on the board of directors for Epilepsy Services of Northeastern Illinois and current President of the Grayslake Business Breakfast Club. He coaches his daughters, Madelyne (10) and Bridget (7) basketball, soccer and softball teams and enjoys playing golf. Jim has been married to his wife Jenny for 16 years . | | | ELLEN MORGAN With a BS in Education from Ohio University, Ellen went on to teach 3rd grade in Chicago for 8 years. She began to work part time as a fitness instructor and personal trainer when her two sons were born, and continues to do so today. You will find her teaching Indoor Cycling, Pilates Mat, and Cardio classes at Equinox in Highland Park. She has served on the ESNI Board for the past three years. In May of ’05 Ellen experienced a grand mal seizure. She learned the cause was a "meningioma"; a tumor on the outside lining of the brain. A skilled neurosurgeon was able to do a complete resection. However, due to the severity of the seizure, Ellen remained on anti-seizure meds for 3 years. She turned to ESNI for counseling. They did a wonderful job helping her get through this difficult period in her life. She is forever grateful and proud to serve on the ESNI board . | |  | DENNIS R. O’DELL Dennis joined Walgreens as a pharmacy intern in Memphis, TN in 1968 and became a pharmacist for the retail chain after graduating from the University of Tennessee in 1970 with honors. He was promoted to pharmacy manager later that year and to district pharmacy supervisor in 1972. He also served as manager – Intercom Pharmacy Operations, beginning in 1983. He was promoted to director – Pharmacy Purchasing in 1993 and to vice president – Health Services in 1997. He was promoted to corporate vice president in 2001 and to senior vice president in 2004. Dennis retired as senior vice president of Pharmacy Services. In 1998 and 2004, he was named national Pharmacy Executive of the Year by the chain drugstore industry. In 2004, he served on the State Pharmaceutical Assistance Transition Commission for the U. S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is active in civic and professional organizations in the community and nationally. He serves in an advisory capacity for several academic institutions nationally and is currently enrolled in graduate studies at the University of Notre Dame . | |  | MARILYN STRAUS Marilyn has served on the ESNI board of Directors since 1984 and has held the offices of secretary, Vice-President and President. She grew up in Glencoe and is a 56 year resident of Ravinia. She has been a community activist for seniors and children. Marilyn was with Ravinia Nursery School for 40 years and now serves as their Director Emeritus. She founded and serves as chair of the Highland Park Home Child Care Providers. She was also a founding member of family network 25 years ago. She was on the Highland Park Housing Commission for six years and is a past chair of the Highland Park Human Relations Commission where she served or eight years. She was past chair and treasurer of the Lake County Child care Coalition. Marilyn received the Highland Park Humanitarian Award for the year 2000 . | |  | BRIAN L. RIEGER Brian has over twenty-five years of real estate experience. He joined Koenig & Strey in 2005 where he specializes in commercial real estate for individual owners and investors. Prior to this, he spent a year with The Pritzker Realty Group as Vice President of Asset Management where he focused on sales and positioning the family assets for disposition. Prior to Pritzker, he was a partner at Group One Investments, LLC, a boutique private equity investor in multi-family properties, where he acted as Director of Client Relations and Portfolio Management, overseeing 12 apartment communities with over 6,000 units. Prior to this, he was a Vice President with The RREEF Funds, a national real estate advisor for institutional capital, where he served in both the Portfolio and Development Groups over a ten year period. Brian received his JD from DePaul University, College of Law and his BS from the University of Illinois . | |  | NANCY WOLFF Nancy, with her husband Roger, is proprietor and manager of The Bootery with both Highland Park and Lake Geneva locations. Nancy was diagnosed with epilepsy over 30 years ago and many doctors over the years had failed to help control her seizures. Her disorder was studied and considered inoperable by many neurologists, including specialists from the University of Chicago. Nancy learned about ESNI and attended several group counseling sessions. ESNI staff suggested that she should try testing at Rush and their opinion was that she could very well be a candidate for surgery with further testing. Long story short: success! Nancy was elected to the board of ESNI and continues to keep in contact with her neurologist and other candidates for surgery that contact her for information about her experiences. She says “I will be forever grateful to ESNI and the forward thinking of the neurologists at Rush." |
