MAUREEN GALASSIE

Maureen joined the staff of Epilepsy Services in April of 1989 as Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director.  Over the next 12 years her responsibilities increased to include production of EPILIFE, the agency newsletter; maintenance of ESNI's database and membership files; community liaison; state statistical reporting; and recording secretary at all executive agency and Board of Directors meetings. 

Maureen was named agency Executive Director in January, 2000. She is a longtime resident of Highland Park
.


JILL MUELLER, LSCW

Jill’s first full time position was as a grade school teacher.  In 1983, upon obtaining her MSW, she switched careers and worked as a case manager for the Maine Center for Mental Health.  Jill joined the staff of ESNI in 1988 as a clinical social worker.  At ESNI she provides psychotherapy to individuals and families who are affected by epilepsy.  She was named clinical supervisor in 2003.

Jill received her BS in Special Education at the University of Michigan and her MSW from Loyola University Chicago
.


RACHEL McL. GREELEY, LSCW

Rachel began her employment at Evanston Hospital as a member of their Crisis Team, with the last two of five years as team leader.  She then moved to an agency where she worked for 18 years as a clinical social worker, seeing a variety of clients and interfacing on a regular basis with physicians, psychiatrists and psychologists.  For the last ten years, Rachel has maintained a private practice in Evanston and joined the ESNI staff in 2004 as a part-time clinical social worker.
Rachel received her BA Degree in Sociology from Beloit College and her MSW from Loyola University of Chicago
.


 

Cheryl Berg is a consultant who assists ESNI’s clinical supervisor in assuring that appropriate assistance is given to each and every ESNI client.
 

CHERYL BERG, LCSW

Cheryl has served as Clinical Consultant to ESNI for twenty years. She has a private psychotherapy practice for individuals, couples and families. Cheryl is Associate Faculty at the Chicago Center for Family Health; Adjunct Faculty at the Family Institute Northwestern University and on the professional staff of Evanston Hospital, Department of Psychiatry.  Formerly, she was Instructor of Clinical Psychiatry at Northwestern University Medical School and the Family & Marital Therapy Coordinator for outpatient psychiatry at Evanston Hospital. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Chicago.
